I commented on five posts about food from people from different countries. They were all very interesting and different from the foods we eat in the United States. Here’s the links to my comments!
I made a poll about what food you would want to eat for the rest of your life on Poll Daddy. Go check it out! http://poll.fm/5go6e
Some popular foods in America are cheeseburgers, hot dogs, pizza, nachos, and mac and cheese. Definitely a lot of grease!
For my header, I used a picture from Pixabay. These images are all free to use. I chose a picture of pumpkins with painted faces because it puts me in the autumn mood and reminds me that Halloween is right around the corner!
On the spooky Halloween night, Rachel and her friends knocked on every door in the deserted neighborhood. Giggling and sprinting from house to house, they didn’t even realize that they were the only children in the neighborhood. Suddenly, Rachel trips over the curb while running behind her friends, and twists her ankle while falling to the ground. Her friends never realized that she was left behind. They didn’t even hear her when she called out there names. Rachel was now stuck in a neighborhood with nobody she knew.
On Halloween, my friends and I all meet up at someones house and take pictures in our Halloween costumes. We trick or treat for about an hour and a half in a gated community, then we all meet up at a different house and trade our candy. Lastly, we drive to our friends house who lives on a lake, and we hang out on her dock while having a bonfire. Halloween is the best!
For this activity, I wrote a story on Storybird. I used reference from my previous Halloween story. You can read it on this link!
One of my favorite times with my family is when we traveled to Las Vegas together. The six hour car drive wasn’t the most fun thing in the world, but it gave us a chance to be a family (keep in mind I have four siblings.) In Las Vegas, we did so many fun things such as going to the pool, going to the mall, eating at new restaurants, and just spending down time in our hotels overlooking the pools, an airport, and the Las Vegas strip. At night, we would walk around the streets and look at the beautiful lights. In addition, we went to downtown Vegas and went zip lining. We ate at a cool restaurant and had so much fun as a family.
Cory Monteith, a famous actor, passed away two years ago. He was an amazing actor and overall an amazing person. Cory Monteith was on the show, Glee, and he was one of the main characters, Finn, who fell in love with Lea Michele, Rachel. Not only did they fall in love on television, but they were planning on getting married in real life as well.
I interviewed my mom about her grandma. Apparently, she was just like me. She loved everything to be spotless, except her own room. She adored pets such as puppies and kittens. My great grandma loved spaghetti and meatballs and cornbread. I can see how we are related.
